We welcome you ...
especially if the realisation that God loves you (John 3.16) has struck a chord and you want to find out more. We hope that our website will help you begin to find the answers you seek. We have a section HERE that is a good starting point. We also hope that this site will encourage you to join us at a service or event to find more of His, and our, love for you.
This year is an important one for the United Kingdom. Not only do we have the Summer Olympics to look forward to but we will also be celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Both these events show a common theme, dedication. An athlete is dedicated to being the best in his or her sport whilst the Queen is dedicated to serving the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
At Kingswood Congregational Church we, too, share this spirit of dedication. Our dedication, though, is to showing the love of God in our daily lives. We think we do it very well since people who come to our services or events often remark on how they feel loved and wanted from the moment they walk through our door. Some say 'it's like being part of the family', others that 'it's like coming home.'
Of course, like any family we are a mix of characters but that's not a bad thing. It means we are bound to have someone who thinks like you, feels like you and, above all, understands you. Whoever you are and whatever your situation we pray that you will feel led to visit Kingswood Congregational Church soon. We so want to meet you, make you feel welcome and at home.
Yours, in Christ,
Richard Westacott, B.A. (Exon)
Church Leader
